New timetable on routes 103/a/b/c

From Monday 1 September, we’ll be making a few changes to our 103/a/b/c routes. 

These changes will help improve the punctuality and reliability of buses on the route.

improvements for Bishops Green

As part of the new timetable, the morning service from Bishops Green will be improved, with all journeys towards Newbury calling through replacing the 103c “connection”. As now, some journeys from Newbury will serve Greenham Business Park before Bishop’s Green, and any passengers travelling to Bishop’s Green may remain onboard the bus whilst it travels around Greenham Business Park.

The route will no longer call onto the Newbury College campus to help improve punctuality of the rest of the route. However, the Pinchington Lane Roundabout stop is a short walk from the campus, and the more comprehensive route 2 will continue to call into the campus as normal.

The new timetable is designed to provide more reliable arrivals for people starting work at 7am, 8am and 9am, and a range of finish times from 3pm to 6.30pm.
