Changes to Connect fares

From Wednesday 1 April there will be changes to the prices of the West Berkshire Connect tickets following a decision made by West Berkshire Council.
West Berkshire Connect tickets are the main day and season tickets on route groups 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 which are funded by the Council, and can also be used on the rest of our services in the relevant zones. The zones are Connect Urban (for travel around Newbury) and Connect Rural (for travel beyond Newbury).
The Connect Day ticket is being split into separate fares for the urban and rural areas, in line with the season tickets.
These changes only affect Connect tickets, with no changes to single or return fares, or Reading Buses simplyNewbury & Thatcham or simplyNetwork tickets that are available on routes 1, 1a/1c, and 103.
