We're looking for enthusiastic and customer friendly bus or coach drivers (or people looking to start their career as a driver) to join Newbury & District, part of the award-winning Reading Buses family.
As a school bus driver, you'll be working part-time during term time with 30 hours a week.
Based out of our Greenham depot, Newbury & District is a name synonymous with public transport in West Berkshire since 1932. Nearly 100 years later we’re proud to be providing the very highest levels of service with modern buses and a small team of friendly drivers. As Newbury & District bus driver you will be delivering the highest standards of customer service, safety and comfort for your passengers.
This role is open to existing PSV license holders or new starters.
Job requirements include:
- A valid, clean, car driving license
- Previous experience in bus or coach driving preferred but not necessary as training will be given
- Have outstanding customer service skills
- Possess a can-do attitude
- Successful candidates will need to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Complete disability awareness and safeguarding training
